1 July 2026Real property taxNew real property tax class for non-Bahamian owner-occupied homes (0.625%, capped at $200,000). Owner-occupied homes no longer need a minimum number of days' residence for the $300,000 exemption or the $150,000 cap. The five-year exemption for first-time homeowners now covers homes up to $600,000 (was $500,000). (source)
