Privacy policy

Short version: the calculators run in your browser, and nothing you type into them is stored or sent to us.

Calculators

All calculations happen on your device. Your inputs appear in the page address (for example ?salary=3500) only so you can bookmark or share a result; that address stays on your device unless you share it.

VAT / TIN lookup

When you search the lookup, your search text is sent to our server to find matches. We don't store searches. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for up to a few weeks for security and abuse prevention, and we limit how many searches one address can make per minute.

The lookup shows only what the Department of Inland Revenue publishes in its public VAT registrant and TIN lists. To request a correction or removal, contact us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools are used, so we know what to improve. It sets cookies and Google receives your IP address and browser details; it never receives what you type into a calculator, and we only send which tool page you used. You can opt out with your browser's cookie settings orGoogle's opt-out add-on. Seehow Google uses this data.

Your device

We store two small preferences in your browser if you use them: your light/dark mode choice and whether you dismissed a "rates updated" banner.
